The kitchen sink and faucet are vital to a kitchen’s work flow; it’s worth investing in a quality faucet and wide, spacious sink that has room enough to hold your biggest pan for easy washing. Extendable faucets are handy for filling large pots, but wall-mounted pot fillers can also get the job done. Consider stainless steel or chrome fixtures for everything in the kitchen, as these are the most durable and very easy to keep sparkling. As for appliances, advanced cooking technology like a French door wall oven is becoming more readily available for the home. Bathrooms have a lot of plumbing to them, and there are many beautiful options that can complete your perfect bathroom design. Pay attention to plumbing hardware color finishes—in current trends, golds, blacks and mixed metals are replacing chrome and silver faucets for a richer look. Showers now can be very elaborate, having music, thermostats, iPads, and programmable lights. Showerheads themselves can have different settings; you can even install a showerhead in the ceiling to mimic rain. Free-standing tubs tend to be more spacious and provide architectural interest, as opposed to built-in rectangle tubs. Architectural Details:

Adding decorative molding to your rooms quickly gives a plain space architectural flair. A coffered ceiling adds dimension and a bold look, and is particularly nice in kitchens, dining, family rooms and rooms with higher ceilings. The look of coffered designs vary greatly: the ceiling inside the coffer can be painted another color; coffers can be outlined with crown molding that is lit from behind; grid patterns can be small or large. Updating a staircase with stained wood treads, wrought iron balusters, decorative handrails and boxed newel posts can transform the look of your home as well. Ambient light can be provided through well-placed ceiling cans and chandeliers, and is best for rooms you want to relax in, such as a bedroom or living room. Window Treatment Details:

Drapery frames windows and adds texture, color and softness to a room. Without a good dressing up, windows can seem bare and unfinished. Print technology can make sticky-backed, high quality custom print and cut vinyl wall graphics that can adorn walls and glass. This option is perfect for placing your favorite quote or meaningful family saying in your home, or incorporating a complicated image like a world map in a bedroom. Another décor idea is the antiqued mirror accent piece. These mirrors are often artificially aged through a chemical process that changes the color and texture of the mirror itself, creating an interesting piece with a bit more flair than your average rectangle model.
