Home Artisans of Indiana Academic Scholarship

Home Artisans is a community of like-minded business leaders dedicated to personal and professional growth and guided by a commitment to superior quality, value, and outstanding customer service. As such, Home Artisans is specifically interested in promoting similar commitments among those entering the home improvement industry.

The Home Artisans are committed to offering up to $2,000 per year in scholarships toward membership to the Fishers Maker Playground located within the Hub & Spoke building. The Maker Playground is a first class facility providing students and individuals with the tools and skills they need to excel in high paying careers. This scholarship comes with access to the Maker Playground which offers work-space and top of the industry tools and equipment allowing the scholarship recipient access and hands-on education in design, fabrication, metal work, and wood craft fields.


Ideal candidates will demonstrate work ethic, motivation, dedication, follow through, and creativity in their application.

Those applicants awarded scholarships will also be provided a one-year honorary membership within the Home Artisans of Indiana and commit to attending one general membership meeting per calendar quarter.


  • Student must be a United States Citizen residing in Central Indiana.
  • Student must successfully be enrolled in or complete high school.
  • Be a current high school student over the age of seventeen (17) or enrolled in an institution in Central Indiana in one of the following eligible programs or equivalent: Architecture, Construction Plan Management, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Interior Design, Landscaping, Masonry, Plumbing, Cabinet Making, Business, or Marketing.
  • Complete the Home Artisans Scholarship Application;
  • Two Written Letters of Recommendation
  • Confirmation of Enrollment in High School or College or Post-Secondary Institution Letter of Acceptance / Admission


Fully completed applications are due July 15th to qualify for a fall semester scholarship. Spring semester applications are due by November 15th.
